Shipping Policy
Effective Date: October 19, 2026 · Version: 2026.10.19
We ship to all 50 U.S. states. We do not ship outside the United States.
Who ships your order
Prescription medication ships directly from the licensed 503A pharmacy that fills your prescription. Insert MD does not store, handle, or ship medication. The pharmacies we work with are listed on our Contact page.
When it ships
- Nothing ships until a licensed clinician approves a prescription.
- After approval, the pharmacy compounds and ships your order. Most orders ship within a few business days.
- Tracking appears in your patient portal, and we email it to you once the carrier scans the package.
Where it ships
- Medication ships only to an address in the state where you were evaluated, because your clinician and the pharmacy must be licensed there.
- Use a physical address where someone can receive the package. Some medications need refrigeration and cannot sit in a mailbox.
- To change your address, contact support before your order ships.
Shipping cost
The shipping charge is shown at checkout before you confirm. You pay it only when a prescription is approved.
When it arrives
Open the package promptly and follow the storage instructions on the label. Refrigerate cold-shipped medication right away.
If your order is damaged, warm when it should be cold, incorrect, or late, contact support@insertmd.com or (512) 778-0376 within 7 days. We send the case to the pharmacy, and the pharmacy reships at no cost when the problem is a pharmacy or carrier error. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
